Winter’s Ambience

Embracing a winter’s day 

with my favourite 

subtropical weather.

There is a white carpeted sky

with a slow constant drizzle,

bringing revitalising fresh air

and a nurturing coolness.

The street is quiet and only

my neighbour walks 

purposefully by in the wet,

with no time to converse.

I stand on the front verandah

rejoicing in the peaceful,

calming and blissful ambience
